While it may seem like no big deal to give or sell your race bib to another person, it does present serious consequences to both the event organizers and the participants. Race results and finisher’s awards can be impacted and medical staff might not be able to identify a participant in need of treatment on the course. It is imperative that the person wearing the bib and taking part in the race is the same person that is in our registrant database.
For the safety of our participants and integrity of the race, we ALLOW transfers on a limited basis. You may not just give or sell your number to anyone. It must be done through the proper transfer process approved by the SRRF. RunSignUp enables a registrant to "Transfers as a Gift", where the registrant gives their registration to another user, does not receive a refund, and the recipient is able to register.
Transfers are available first-come, first-served up until September 13, 2019. There is a $10 transfer administrative fee that must be paid by the orignial entrant, and original entry fees are non-refundable.
